Concentra Physical Therapy not only encourages but supports its employees' participation in educational workshops and courses to promote their clinical education:

Concentra offers specialized training at the Manual Therapy Institute, an APTA-credentialed, post-professional clinical fellowship program. Working in tandem with 1 of 10 clinical sites located throughout the country, residents complete 2.5 years of course work and 440 supervised hours. This specialized, rigorous, and advanced orthopedic training program advances the evaluation and treatment skills of the physical therapist in the orthopedic setting.

Concentra's Therapy Student Program mentors students and interns into therapy professionals who demonstrate excellent clinical skills, communication skills, evidence-based practice management implementation, and leadership potential. The internship period is variable in length and may extend for 6 to 12 months. The internship program is offered in conjunction with academic institutions as part of their students' preparation.
Currently, Concentra is affiliated with over 150 physical therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy assistant, and occupational therapy assistant programs in the United States. If you have an affinity for working with students, this is an excellent opportunity to develop the next generation of physical therapists.
